Information Sequentale processes
Account information
When you use Sign in with Apple, Sequentale receives Apple’s stable account identifier and, when Apple supplies them, your name and email or private relay email. The Mac app exchanges the Apple identity token for a revocable Sequentale session stored in your Keychain.
Creative and production content
Projects may include scripts, scene and shot data, images, audio, references, notes, comments, review decisions, versions, exports, and collaboration activity. Local .frameflow documents remain under your control. Shared projects and their assets are stored by the Sequentale service so authorized collaborators can access them.
Purchases and service operations
Apple processes App Store purchases. Sequentale may receive transaction and entitlement status needed to unlock features and prevent duplicate access. The service also records limited operational data such as request identifiers, timestamps, job status, cost reservations, and security events needed to operate and protect the product.
AI is opt-in per project
When AI is disabled, Sequentale does not send project content to a generation model. Manual authoring, import, editing, playback, and export remain available.
When you enable AI and explicitly choose a generation action, Sequentale shows the route, processing location, and current price or budget impact before billable server work begins. The prompt and selected reference images are sent only to the provider shown for that action. On-device Foundation Models and Image Playground remain on the Mac. Generated results are unaccepted candidates until you choose to use them.
Sequentale does not permit model training on project content in this release. Job records follow the retention period you select for the project; infrastructure and provider deletion may take a limited period to complete.
How information is used and shared
Sequentale uses information to save and synchronize projects, enforce roles, deliver review and notification features, complete exports and generation jobs, reconcile purchases, prevent abuse, support users, and maintain reliability. Content is shared with collaborators and review recipients only according to the project permissions and links you create.
Service providers process data only to provide their part of the product, including Apple for identity, purchases, notifications, and on-device intelligence; Cloudflare for application, database, and asset infrastructure; and the generation provider disclosed in a server-AI quote. Sequentale does not sell personal information or creative content.
Storage, security, and retention
The Mac app uses App Sandbox, user-selected file access, Keychain session storage, encrypted network transport, bounded package parsing, and content checksums. No security measure is perfect, so keep independent copies of critical production material and use copies—not sole originals—during beta migration.
Project and account data remains until you delete it, a project owner removes it, a configured retention period expires, or it is no longer required for legitimate operational, legal, or security purposes. Revoked review links and sessions stop granting access.
Your controls
- Disable AI independently for each project.
- Change generation-record retention from the project Trust Center.
- Revoke review links, remove collaborators, and manage notification categories.
- Export portable project data and production deliverables.
- Use the Trust Center’s typed confirmation to delete all server-side Sequentale account data.
- Delete local documents yourself; account deletion never silently removes files from your Mac.
Children, transfers, and changes
Sequentale is a professional creative tool and is not directed to children. Service infrastructure and disclosed providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their safeguards and applicable law. Material policy changes will be dated here and, when appropriate, communicated in the product.
